First tile for Mehdi Taremi since he arrived at Inter. The great protagonist of the Nerazzurri’s summer, with his goals, has in fact stopped due to a muscular problem, as announced by the club: “Mehdi Taremi underwent an MRI scan this morning at the Humanitas Clinical Institute in Rozzano. The tests revealed a muscular strain in the biceps femoris of his left thigh. His situation will be reassessed next week”.
So far a great summer for the former Porto
A significant setback for mister Simone Inzaghi, given that up to now the Iranian striker had been among the most positive of the team’s summer training sessions. So much so that many, also given the late returns of Thuram (now at Pinetina) and Lautaro after the Copa America, saw him as a starter in the first official outings of the new season. Having scored against Lugano and Pergolettese, Taremi then also left his mark in the third Nerazzurri friendly against Las Palmas which ended 3-0. Now the stoppage for physical reasons is halting his preparation and complicating Simone Inzaghi’s ideas in view of the seasonal debut in the championship against Genoa on August 17th.
Here are Thuram and Pavard again.
Good news comes from the return to Appiano Gentile for Marcus Thuram and Benjamin Pavard, after their commitments with the French national team. Two key players in Simone Inzaghi’s rotations last season, who anticipate the return of the Dutch Dumfries and De Vrij, all returning from vacation following the European Championship played with their respective national teams. However, the group will only be completed in the next few days, with the last to return being captain Lautaro Martinez: the Bull will still enjoy a few hours of vacation after winning the Copa America with his Argentina. With him also Valentin Carboni, who is however destined to leave with Inter who already has all the necessary agreements with Olympique Marseille.
