Luca Mazzitelliformer midfielder of the Roma youth team who recently moved from Frosinone to Como, spoke to the microphones of Sports Network. These are his statements:
Have you played with Soulè? Will he be able to assert himself in Giallorossi?
“He is a guy who is impossible not to love, he is a pure guy, he has an incredible passion and love for football, he would spend all day on the pitch training. He knows how to behave, he was at Juve, he knows how to get into an important group. My advice was to stay as he is, go to the pitch with joy. He knows he has more pressure, but he is Argentinian and he wants it”
In terms of character, can he suffer from the leap forward to Roma?
“No, last year at the first training session he wanted all the balls, he’s hungry and has personality. A lot will depend on the first games to adapt to the best, I think De Rossi is counting on it a lot”
Real role? How did he play last year?
“He’s a 4-3-3 winger who can also come and get the ball between the lines, he’s very good in tight spaces, you have to keep him in the thick of the game on the pitch. He can easily play with Dybala, they have different experiences, I know they’re very good friends, the areas on the pitch are found, the numbers of the modules don’t matter”
Have you ever been close to returning to Rome?
“I made my debut 10 years ago, I had many experiences around and there was never the possibility of returning”
