Dovbyk new centre forward for Roma! Here is the club’s statement

The wait is over. Artem Dovbyk he is the new centre forward of the Rome. The announcement, after the medical visits and the signatures of the last few hours, came directly from the Giallorossi club which wrote the following on its official website:

“AS Roma is delighted to welcome Artem Dovbyk to the Giallorossi family. The Ukrainian international – born in 1997 – is a physically strong centre-forward who last season played for Girona, a club with which an agreement has been reached for his permanent transfer to the Giallorossi.

That same goal, moreover, arrived in extra time after 120 minutes and 37 seconds, is the second latest at the European Championships after Semih Senturk’s in 2008 (121 minutes and 1 second).

In Giallorossi he will wear the number 11. Dovbyk is the first Ukrainian footballer in the history of Roma.
