The wait is over. Artem Dovbyk he is the new centre forward of the Rome. The announcement, after the medical visits and the signatures of the last few hours, came directly from the Giallorossi club which wrote the following on its official website:
“AS Roma is delighted to welcome Artem Dovbyk to the Giallorossi family. The Ukrainian international – born in 1997 – is a physically strong centre-forward who last season played for Girona, a club with which an agreement has been reached for his permanent transfer to the Giallorossi.
Left-footed and good in the air, Artem was the last top scorer of the 2023-24 La Liga with 24 goals in 36 games, also providing 8 assists. Impressive numbers, which contributed to the first – historic – qualification for the Champions League of the Catalan team, classified in third place in the Spanish top division.
