Di Gregorio doesn’t feel the pressure: he dreams of the national team, thanks to Juve

Yesterday, Juventus welcomed back Danilo, Bremer and Yildiz. First day in black and white, instead, for Douglas Luiz, who after a quick trip to JMedical for routine checks, immediately joined the group and carried out his first session under the orders of mister Thiago Motta. Now the Juventus team is complete and, while waiting for some news from the market, the coach born in 1982 will be able to start working on the tactical dictates in view of the first match of the championship against Como.

Di Gregorio wants to make his mark at Juve and dreams of the national team.
Michele Di Gregorio introduced himself to the Bianconeri fans at a press conference on Tuesday afternoon. The new Juventus goalkeeper spoke about his ambitions for this season and his national dream: “The goal is to give my all and get some satisfaction. The national team is definitely a goal. Leaving my mark on Juve is a goal. I’m thinking about it. It will take a lot of work and sacrifice. I know I’m in the right place.” Di Gregorio knows full well that it won’t be easy to not make one of the strongest goalkeepers in Europe like Szczesny feel the lack, but he seemed confident and aware of his own means: “When you come here you know there will be pressure, but that’s the beautiful thing about sport. It’s the thing that pushes me every day to improve. To try to be the best I can.”

Of Gregorio and that word given to Giuntoli.
Michele Di Gregorio has received many offers in this transfer market session, but in the press conference he said he chose Juventus after a chat with Cristiano Giuntoli: “When the championship ended I spoke with the director Giuntoli and I didn’t think about any other team. I gave my word and I kept it”. The goalkeeper born in ’97, however, wanted to praise the strength of the black and white group, which particularly surprised him in his first retreat with the Old Lady: “I had never found a group like this from day one. From day one I immediately felt welcomed, at ease, that worked hard, strong, with an important mentality. Germany? It helped us a lot at a group level to be together and spend time together, get to know each other on the pitch and off it. I think it was a great week”. Confident, excited and ambitious, this is the message sent by Di Gregorio to all the Juventus people.
