Inter, work is underway on the post-Mkhitaryan era: one door to Germany, the other to Bologna

Despite Henrikh Mkhitaryan be one of the absolute cornerstones of theInter Italian champion of Simone Inzaghigiven the 35 springs weighing on the Armenian’s shoulders and the contract expiring in the summer of 2025, the Nerazzurri management has begun to work on the succession of the former Rome.

About that Allsports Today on newsstands offers two possible solutions. The first leads to Germany and in particular to Salzburg where he plays Luka Sucica central defender born in Austria with a Croatian passport. His contract also expires at the end of next season and if the renewal does not materialize for him, a ‘Zielinski-style’ operation would be expected with a free transfer to the Milanese squad.

The other track, instead, would foresee the return to Appiano Gentile of John Fabbianborn in 2003 today at Bologna on which Inter has a buy-back option for 12 million euros. Fabbian (21), despite having completed his entire career in the Nerazzurri youth sector, has never made his debut in the first team. Before joining the Bologna club, in fact, the boy from Camposampiero played on loan at Regina in Serie B under the guidance of Philip Inzaghi.
