Former striker Luca Toni made a few comments on The Sports Gazette in an interview themed Dusan Vlahovicidentified as “anti Lautaro” by the 2006 World Champion and winner of the Golden Boot in his career. “Doing good preparation is fundamental for someone with Vlahovic’s size – says Toni at the beginning – and in the long run it makes the difference”.
Toni continues in the chat with the Rosea: “In the new Juventus cycle he is one of the veterans, with the departure of some big names it is normal that Vlahovic takes on more responsibilities”. Then a prediction on his adaptation with Thiago Motta: “It will help him play more with the team. He has always scored goals, beyond that I am convinced that he will be more central to the game. Motta makes the centre forward play well, he makes him bond with the team”.
So, he concludes with a quick reflection on Morata: “Alvaro is a striker that I have always liked and he will be an added value for Milan.”
