Youssoufa Moukoko wants to leave Borussia Dortmund. The 2004-born striker is tied to the yellow and black club by a contract until June 2026, but this summer he will pack his bags. His agent announced it, Patrick Williamsin an interview with Fabrizio Romano: “Youssoufa has enormous potential, which unfortunately he was unable to show last season. I think the fact that he scored 5 goals in 613 minutes says everything about his quality. Few players in the Bundesliga have a similar average.”
A lot of anger in the words of the agent, clearly towards Borussia Dortmund, due to the lack of space: “Youssoufa had been promised many things before signing, but nothing materialized. He was always interested only in his growth, not in anything else, as the media always claimed. If it had been a question of money, he could have accepted other offers and could have earned more than triple what he earns in Dortmund”.
Williams, Moukoko’s agent, also has a problem with the press: “The media always paints him as a loser, both in training and during the season. The only thing he wants is to play. It’s no secret that there are several clubs who believe in Youssoufa’s qualities and would like to have him in their team. I say that Borussia Dortmund are making a mistake in selling Youssoufa. With so little time left, everyone will know that Youssoufa’s market value will be low and Dortmund cannot expect much. We are now sounding out the interest of England, Spain and France.”
