Tinti on Chiesa: “I wouldn’t throw him overboard… Strange that he only has one year left on his contract”

Present in the ‘Sky’ studios, the agent Tullio Tinti commented on the situation of Federico Chiesa, a 1997-born striker tied to Juventus by a contract valid until 30 June 2025: “It’s strange that a player like that only has one more year on his contract, in these cases you have to try to negotiate a moment before. Chiesa is a good player, I don’t know if he’s not more welcome, but sometimes it’s better to change and I would try to do the best for him to find him the best placement”.

Then in another passage he added: “I wouldn’t throw Chiesa overboard, he’s a player for the Italian national team. He’s a player with important qualities. Then it can happen that a player wants to make different choices and if Juventus wants to sell him… Who do you prefer between Sancho and Adeyemi? I prefer Sancho, but it doesn’t matter much”.

The Juventus coach also spoke about Federico Chiesa today. These are the statements of Thiago Motta: “He is part of Juventus at the moment and then we will see. Vlahovic? There is no pressure, but only a great responsibility. Dusan’s work, like that of all the others, cannot stop at just seeing the goals. There are many things to do in football, he knows it very well and he knows how to do it. He is an important player for the team, but I also said it in the first press conference I gave: Great talent always needs the team”.
