Cellino’s latest move already gone up in smoke? Viktoros gets hurt in first training session with Brescia

The president of Brescia Max Cellino is not new to surprise moves on the market as demonstrated by the arrivals in this transfer session of Verreth and Buhagiar. The latest in chronological order is that of George Victorcentral defender born in 2006, who yesterday landed in Torbole Casaglia, where the Rondinelle sports centre is located, to train on trial with Maran’s team.

The Cypriot with a Bulgarian passport was supposed to be the replacement for Mangraviti, sold to Cesena, and act as the fourth centre-back behind Cistana, Adorni and Papetti, but at the first training session – as reported Allsports – the young footballer was injured, leaving the field in tears, with Brescia taking refuge behind privacy but not wanting to clarify what the problem was (some say it was an ankle and some say it was a knee) explaining that new tests will be needed to understand the extent of the problem.

The Italian adventure of Viktoros, who boasts 19 appearances with Nea Salamina Famagusta in the top league of Cyprus, could therefore be over before it even begins, even if we will have to wait for the results of the tests he will undergo in these days. If the problem were to be more serious than expected, Brescia will therefore have to return to the market in search of a fourth center back to extend the rotations available to coach Maran.
