Cagliari, Felici: “Nainggolan my role model. I hope to enter the club’s history”

Mattia Happyoffensive winger who arrived in recent weeks at Cagliari from Feralpisalò, spoke to the official channels of the Sardinian club to introduce himself to the new fans: “I haven’t had the chance to visit the city yet, I’ve only been to the sports center. The level is certainly much higher than the second division. When I arrived at the airport there were many journalists, fans, both adults and children: it was a unique emotion”.

Favorite role?
“With mister Nicola we are trying out a new role that I had the chance to play only a few times last year, but I feel great. I was born as an attacking winger, but I can also play in defence or as an attacking midfielder”.

How has his career developed?
“I started at 17 in Serie D with Palermo, another very hot club, then Serie C always in Palermo and Trieste and Serie B with Salò. I hope that Serie A with Cagliari can reserve something special for me. My girlfriend has Sardinian origins and her father, who is no longer with us, was a big Cagliari fan. My arrival here was a sign of destiny”.

Who are your role models?
“Nainggolan. He was devastating in Rome. The Romans have always done well in Cagliari, from Conti to Ranieri. I hope I can also enter the history of the Romans of Cagliari”.
