After the arrival of the Norwegian Cecilie Fisherstrand between the posts and the Danish Sophie Bredgaard in midfield, Fiorentina Femminile has announced another arrival from Scandinavia as well as another Danish international: Emma Snerle who has signed a two-year contract with the Viola club. “ACF Fiorentina announces that it has acquired the rights to the sporting performances of the Danish national team player Emma Strom Snerle. Born in Dronninglund on 23 March 2001, Emma comes from West Ham where she played the last two seasons. The midfielder grew up in Fortuna Hjorring with whom she played more than 80 games scoring 30 goals, also making her debut in the UEFA Women’s Champions League against Fiorentina in 2018. With the Danish team Fortuna Hjorring the footballer won two Danish Championships and a Danish Cup.
Emma has worn the national team jersey since 2016, making her debut in the senior national team in 2019 with 22 appearances and 2 goals. The player has signed a contract with the club until 30 June 2026″.
