Can Euro 2024 bring a change of pace with young talents?
“At the European Championship we saw very young players do incredible things, it’s up to the coaches and clubs to trust them and let them play. We need to give them the opportunity to make mistakes, because that’s how they grow and mature. This is important for the kids… Instead, at the first mistake we tend to leave them out”.
What are your prospects?
“The first few years were about settling in, now I feel like I’ve grown up. At 21 I no longer consider myself a boy, I feel responsible and I want to show it on the pitch. Our goal is always to stay in Serie A and we’ll give it our all. I’d like to save myself first, then my personal goals…”
