Unhappy adventure at Nice
Things didn’t go as hoped for Viti at Nice. Last summer, Sassuolo took a chance on him, but there he found himself in the midst of the worst year for the Neroverdi since they went up to Serie A, culminating in a bitter and rather unexpected relegation at the end of the year. On a personal level, 2023/24 wasn’t particularly happy either: beyond the poor team result, the 2002-born centre-back (often used as a full-back by Dionisi) was limited by a few too many physical problems in his continuous performance, finding space mainly from January onwards for a total of 18 games between the league and cup, with less than 1000 minutes in Serie A.
