Ternana, the ‘parachute’ arrives from Serie B. More than 4 million in value thanks to loans

The season that has just ended was rather unfortunate for the Ternanawhich failed to secure safety, collapsing in the return leg of the playout against Bari, who achieved an unexpected permanence in Serie B, condemning the Fere to Serie C. A harakiri that is hard to digest for the red and green team, which is now at the starting line of Group B of the third series 2024-25, and which can still draw something positive from what has happened, albeit bitter.

A starting point for what a few months ago seemed like the future and is now present, has in fact been laid, and will be very useful on the market. In the past Serie B championship, in fact, the team led by mister Roberto Breda managed to enhance many young players coming from Serie A and arriving in Umbria on loan, a situation that was worth a sort of ‘parachute’ in view of relegation: the amount of the valorisations, in fact, was 4 million and 300 thousand euroswhich can now be reinvested. To build a competitive team again.

The desire to start again is not lacking, and despite some certainly important exits, the Sporting Director Stefano Capozucca will know how to calibrate everything, to bring Ternana at least to compete for the top of the standings.
