No agreement between Al Nassr and Juventus for Szczesny. The Arabs fall back on Bento

What future awaits Wojciech Szczesny? With the official arrival of Di Gregorio from Monza, the Polish goalkeeper seems to have really reached the summer for a change of shirt that will lead him to say goodbye to Juventus. One solution seemed to be to take him to play in Saudi Arabia, in Cristiano Ronaldo’s Al Nassr, but this solution has lost consistency.

Yes, because as the English newspaper reports The Athletic Szczesny’s possible transfer to the Saudi team is to be considered a failure. At least for now. The 34-year-old had reached an agreement in principle with Al Nassr for a two-year contract worth almost 20 million euros net in total, but an agreement was not reached with Juventus who owns his registration rights and it therefore seems unlikely that this could happen, especially now that the news is increasingly close to the Brazilian Bento, already an Inter target and who initially seemed destined for Al Ittihad.

For Szczesny, the complicated Monza hypothesis remains standing. Adriano Galliani, CEO of the Brianza club, spoke about it last night: “I wouldn’t talk about the goalkeeper now, they’re hypotheses. When there are negotiations, two clubs sit down, the suggestion is when one thinks that something could happen. At the moment it’s just a suggestion, it could remain such, but you never know. Never say never. They’re dreams and dreaming costs nothing”.
