Mexico also looking for a new coach: the Copa America defeat costs Lozano dearly

A few days after the end of a disastrous Copa America (eliminated in the group with Venezuela, Ecuador and Jamaica) and two years before the World Cup that it will host together with Canada and the United States, Mexico must look for a new coach. The Football Federation has in fact announced the separation from the coach James Lozano.

“You arrived at a difficult time and you were able to face the challenges by bringing unity and professionalism. Today your cycle as Technical Director of the Senior National Team ends and we recognize your dedication and commitment. Thank you Jimmy!”, the Federation’s social message. Lozano had been in charge since September 2023: in 15 games he obtained 5 wins, 4 draws and 6 defeats.
