At the end of the morning training session under the Tre Cime di Lavaredo, the Lazio goalkeeper Christos Mandas he spoke to the microphones of Lazio Style Channel.
The number one of the Biancoceleste touched on many topics, from last season to the next. Below are his statements, reported by Lalaziosiamonoi.it: “We are tired, but it’s normal, we are having a good retreat. I see that my teammates are doing well and there is a great atmosphere in the locker room. It’s wonderful here because there are so many fans who come to watch the training. They give us so much strength. A postcard from last season? Definitely my debut in the derby, not only because it was my first match, but for the victory that gave great joy to the fans.
I’m also happy with my debut with Greece, also because Lazio allowed me to get there. My next goal is to help the team by giving my all and maybe win a trophy. I’ve always believed in myself, but when I arrived the group was very important, because it helped me to fit in quickly”.
Starting on the bench, the Greek goalkeeper has managed to earn his space last season – also due to Provedel’s injury – playing 9 of the last 11 league games. The one that is about to begin, therefore, will have to be the year of his consecration.
