It is now well known that Gianluca Lapadula is popular in Serie B: Pisa is in the lead, but Brescia and Palermo are also following the Cagliari player, who could then be of interest to some clubs that want to relaunch their ambitions (Bari and Salernitana above all). At the moment, however, despite his name bouncing around daily in the transfer news, we cannot speak of real negotiations for one of those players who represents one of the true top players in Serie B in terms of strikers, numbers and career in hand.
The Italian-Peruvian, returning from two years as a protagonist in Sardinia, where he graduated top scorer and best player of the 2022/2023 Serie B and was the author of decisive goals for the salvation of Ranieri’s Cagliari in Serie A (despite suffering from some ailments that limited his performance and use), has been working independently since the days immediately following the Copa America played with his Peru, which preceded a few days of vacation – still peppered with training – but from next July 22 he will be back in the group of mister Davide Nicola, in the retreat in Valle d’Aosta (in Chatillon and Saint-Vincent).
But what will his future be? We’ll see, his salary as a top player for Serie B and his contract expiring in 2025 are elements to evaluate to find a solution for his future.
