Frey to RFV: “Palladino impressed me. Terracciano? You only change him with a champion”

Former goalkeeper Sebastien Frey was present at Viola Park in the last few hours to watch Fiorentina training (one of his former teams when he played) and spoke to the media present directly from the Tuscan sports center. Below are his statements collected by Radio FirenzeViola: “I feel a healthy envy, because the boys have one of the most beautiful sports centers in Europe. I would like to go back 10 years and be able to train at Viola Park.”

What does the purple jersey represent?
“The purple shirt is important, there was love between me and the club 10 years ago. We gave an important meaning to Fiorentina, we brought the team back to the top.”

How do you see the current team?
“I don’t want to comment on the team, because I know very little. I can talk about Palladino: I met him as an opponent on the pitch, he is an Italian talent who unfortunately has been penalised by injuries. As a coach, his year at Monza impressed me. If he can replicate that, the Florentine fans can reignite and find new enthusiasm.”

A review of Terracciano.
“I’ve always said, either Fiorentina goes and gets some champions, not just in goal, or confirms Pietro who last year had a consistent and above all more than positive performance”.
