Joel Campbell starts again fromAthletic Goianiense. The former Arsenal, Frosinone, Villarreal, Lorient, Sporting CP, Betis Sevilla and Olympiacos striker has left Alajuelense to join Brazil where he will play on loan until July 2025. “Atlético Goianiense is proud to announce the signing of Costa Rican striker Joel Campbell. The 32-year-old player landed in Brazil this week and is already in Goia-GO to sign with the Dragon of Brazil until July 2025. Campbell was in Alajuelense Costa Rica The club negotiated the athlete with Atlético Goianiense on a one-year loan. The striker played 56 games last season, scoring 16 goals and providing 5 assists. Campbell is one of the greatest players in the history of Costa Rica, having participated in 3 World Cups (2014, 2018 and 2022). In addition, the Costa Rican has passes through big clubs in the world scene such as Arsenal, Betis, Portuguese Sporting, Olympiacos, Club Leon and Monterrey”.
