The video circulated on social networks in the last few hours, in which the Argentine footballers were filmed (in particular Enzo Fernandez) while chanting a racist chant against the players of the French national team, in particular Kylian Mbappé, has gone around the world and caused great indignation.
Among the most shocked are the French footballers of Chelsea, above all Wesley Fofanawho commented on X: “Football in 2024: uninhibited racism”. A logical position, which however has provoked an incredible wave of deplorable comments on his latest publications: “Cry somewhere else, little black man”, wrote an Argentine, while one of his compatriots added fuel to the fire: “Try to go back to your country”.
And it doesn’t end there, because the former Leicester player also received emojis of monkeys, bananas or Argentine flags: “You’re still crying, you’re African. Go play in Africa”, you can read in this anthology of discomfort along with other comments of the same tenor: “They play for France but they all come from Angola”, “dirty crybaby” and the classic “dirty nigger.” The constant harassment forced Wesley Fofana – who unfollowed Fernandez along with two other teammates – to make his account private.
