Conte starts with a poker. But his mind is on the market: Lukaku yes, Osimhen waits

A good start, even if without brilliance, for Antonio Conte’s Napoli. 4-0 in the first summer friendly against the amateurs of Anaune Val di Non (a team playing in Eccellenza), with goals from Spinazzola, Cheddira, Gaetano and Ngonge. A victory that clearly doesn’t count for anything, given the workload that had an impact and not a little, but which gave the first signs of Napoli who will be, without Osimhen, unavailable due to muscle fatigue. There was anticipation to understand first of all the game system that Conte would use and now we know it, with the feeling that it could be the prevailing module this year: putting aside the historic 4-3-3, here is the 3-4-2-1, maintained in both the first and second half despite the fact that at half-time the Salento coach completely changed the eleven on the field.

Focus on the market: contacts with Lukaku.
The pitch counts for little at this stage of the season, almost nothing, and the attention of all the Azzurri people is focused on the market, with the role of first striker remaining at the centre of the scene. Yesterday the Azzurri club had new contacts with Romelu Lukakuwith the dialogue continuing while waiting for the agreement. The parties are talking to find an agreement on the basis of a three-year contract for the Belgian to sign and the aim is not to be caught unprepared as soon as Victor Osimhen should be sold. Giovanni Manna is therefore working to reach an economic agreement with the Chelsea-owned centre-forward, Antonio Conte’s first and only name for the attack, with the parties close to an agreement until 30 June 2027.

PSG wants to speed up.
In all this, Paris Saint-Germain continues to negotiate, directly in Paris, with Osimhen’s agent, for a figure close to 100 million euros, but first they will have to sell Kolo Muani and for this reason the definitive move has not yet arrived. However, these are very heated days and in the next few hours the issue could be resolved, with Napoli only interested in Lee Kang-in among the counterparts proposed by the French club in recent days.
