Brescia’s new left back Nicholas Corrado was presented at a press conference. These are his statements reported by Bresciaingol.com:
“I’m very happy to have made this choice, honestly I didn’t expect everything to happen in such a short time, but as soon as I heard the call I couldn’t refuse. I’m definitely an ambitious guy, but we have to keep our feet on the ground and try to work straight away. We’re a strong team, we’ll see what happens”.
From a technical-tactical point of view, what do you feel you can give?
“I think I can give a push in the offensive phase because I started out as a winger, even if later I started playing deeper; but I like to push forward and put a lot of crosses in the middle”.
Mr. Maran?
“Good, good, the coach is very good, there’s not much to say. I didn’t expect such a welcome from him or from the whole team, so I’m very happy.”
How are you physically?
“Last year, before the start of the championship, I had to have an operation on my foot for a small problem, which didn’t allow me to be 100% right away. When I got into shape, the team results weren’t coming. Even after the transfer to Modena, the team results weren’t very positive. But now I’m ready for the new season”.
What convinced you to accept Brescia, given that other teams also wanted you?
“I felt strongly wanted, then I already knew the director and some of the boys in the squad. It’s impossible to say no to a historic club like Brescia”.
