…with Francesco Margiotta –

Francesco Margiotta and Botosani, an adventure that didn’t end in the best way. Blame late payments and many situations that were unpleasant for the footballer and his entourage. Margiotta tells his adventure in Romania to TuttoMercatoWeb.com.

Margiotta, what happened in Romania?
“On a human level I was happy: I saw a new place. On a sporting level it wasn’t a good experience.”

Meaning what?
“They paid late, maybe I complained and they tried to kick me out. Then the staff tried to mediate. But I didn’t play.”

Did you finally get paid?
“During the season they always paid late. The final installment was due on June 30, but they still haven’t paid. I asked the president politely when he will pay and he didn’t answer.”

And now?
“I will have to take legal action with FIFA. On a human level I recommend the experience, but professionally it went badly.”

And the future?
“My agents are talking to some teams. I can’t wait to get back on track. Starting early always helps.”

Do you still see him abroad or in Italy?
“I would evaluate both possibilities. I am looking for a valid project. If I were to go abroad it would be nice to continue gaining experience. In Italy instead I would have the opportunity to show my value again. With a full season I will be able to show that I am back to my level”.
