“My transfer to Reggiana happened very quickly, before the retreat, I signed practically immediately because I was very convinced of what I was doing. When I was in the Cesena youth team, with the team in Serie B, I trained with the big boys, I got a taste of what the category is like, but now it’s my first real chance”: this is how one of Reggiana’s new signings, midfielder Oliver Urso, who signed his contract with the Granata on July 11, began his speech in today’s press conference.
The 1999-born player then continued: “The sports centre I saw is fantastic, here is a context that can give me a lot. And that was what I was looking for. We are very focused on training, on preparing, and on a personal level I would like to experience a lot of emotions, carving out my own space”.
Going into his role, Urso explains: “I’m a player! (laughs, ed.) I don’t have a specific role, in midfield I can do them all, I apply myself a lot, and I think this is one of my strong points, but I know I can improve a lot, and being in Serie B my level must grow. I can also tell you that my favorite foot is the left one, I don’t like to talk about myself much, I prefer the pitch to do it. However, I would like to create a good bond with the fans, I hope to make the fans proud”.
A final note, then, to mister William Viali: “He impressed me a lot, in my opinion he has very good ideas, I believe there are the conditions for us all to grow together, as players, from the little I’ve seen in these few days I really had a very good impression. Let’s hope we too are players up to the task”.
