Change of side for Glen Kamara. The 28-year-old midfielder leaves Leeds and England and arrives in Ligue 1. The footballer will wear the Rennes jersey from next season. The announcement was made by the official website of the whites from across the Channel with a press release published on their official website. This is the full note: “Leeds United can confirm that Glen Kamara has joined Stade Rennais – we read on the company’s portal – on a permanent contract, for an undisclosed fee.

The 28-year-old midfielder moved to the Whites last summer from Rangers and has been a regular for the team, making 42 appearances in all competitions at the heart of midfield. A Finnish international, Kamara has featured regularly for his country throughout the 2023/24 season, making a further seven appearances to take his total to 59.

He will now head abroad for the next stage of his career, the club statement concluded, joining Rennes who finished 10th in Ligue 1 last season.
