Good luck Valentin!”. This is the Monza press release, followed by that of Cremonese:

“US Cremonese announces that it has temporarily acquired the sporting performances of the footballer Valentin Antov from AC Monza.

The defender born in 2000 will therefore live his second consecutive adventure in grigiorosso: after arriving in the final hours of the 2023 summer transfer market, during the recently concluded season he collected 36 total appearances between the championship, Coppa Italia and Serie BKT playoffs, scoring his first goal in Italy in the 1-0 victory against Cosenza on 14 January 2024 and recording 2 assists for his teammates.

In 2023/24 Antov stood out for his great physical ability in individual duels and his technical quality in possession, which made him one of the best defenders in the championship in terms of balls won and progressive passes. As a right central defender in coach Giovanni Stroppa’s 3-5-2, he proved to be a fundamental element in the defensive phase and in the construction of the Cremonese maneuver, as well as being a constant danger from set pieces.

The 2024-25 season will be the eighth among professionals for the young man from Sofia, the fifth in Italy. At international level, Antov is a point of reference for the Bulgarian national team, with which he debuted at just 18 years old and played a total of 27 games. Welcome back to Grigiorosso, Valentin!”.
