What kind of championship will the next one be, given that the end of the transfer market is still a long way off?
“If Inter doesn’t experience that process of tiredness among some players who are of a certain age, it’s clear that they always start with an advantage. Juventus is improving where it needed to improve, in the middle of the pitch. A department that didn’t filter and suggested few goal opportunities. Let’s hope this gap is closed. Milan also has potential, but they have conceded too many goals. The defense needs protection. If Fofana, Morata, Pavlovic arrive, Milan still has to sort out its problems. Napoli, not having the cups, must be included in the fight”.
If Lukaku were to go to Napoli, would he do well?
“I’m crazy about Lukaku, he’s the best around. Playing against him gives you the shivers.”
Marotta says the goal is the championship and the Champions League.
“He said protagonists, not that you win in the Champions League. But you can’t say that, because there are always so many variations. This year there mustn’t be this light-heartedness in the cup seen this year.”
