The new life of Donny van de Beek starts with Girona. The Catalan club, which will play in the next Champions League, has made official the signing of the Dutch midfielder, who leaves Manchester United and signs a contract until June 30, 2028.

Here is the press release: “Donny Van de Beek will be a new Girona player for the next four seasons, until 2027-2028. The club and Manchester United have reached an agreement for the transfer of the Dutch midfielder. The new red and white footballer was born in April 1997 in Nijkerkerveen, Netherlands. He started playing for his hometown team, Veensche Boys, and then, in the summer of 2014, he joined the Ajax youth system, becoming one of the most important talents in Dutch football.

This quality led him to make his debut in 2015 with Jong Ajax and two months later he was called up to the first team in the match against Den Haag in the Eredivise (Dutch first division). Van de Beek made his debut in the first team in November 2015 in a Europa League match against Celtic and contributed to the success of the Lancers, reaching the Europa League final and the semi-final of the Champions League.

In September 2020, Van de Beek was transferred to Manchester United. He played 62 games for the Red Devils before being loaned to Eintracht Frankfurt last season.”
