Naples, off to Dimaro: two new faces and the Di Lorenzo case closed (for good)

Here we are. After two days of training, today Antonio Conte’s Napoli leaves for the first of two summer retreats in Dimaro. At lunchtime the adventure in Trentino will begin where the serious work on the pitch will begin a month before the official debut (in the 32nd of the Coppa Italia against Modena on August 10). First training scheduled for 17:30, then many double sessions and the first two tests of the summer. Without the internationals protagonists in the European Championships who will join only in Castel di Sangro, but in the meantime with two new faces.

The first two announcements
Yesterday, after the medicals on Monday, Rafa Marin and Leonardo Spinazzola were announced. These are the first two reinforcements of the summer, who will soon be joined by Alessandro Buongiorno who will undergo his medicals tomorrow to then sign the contract that will bind him to the Partenopeo club. Mario Hermoso is on standby, released after his contract with Atletico Madrid expired, but Napoli remains confident of being able to close after some sales in the defensive department that is now super-numerous. In the meantime, something is starting to move for Osimhen with the rumors that at the moment mainly concern PSG.

Di Lorenzo, another statement: case closed
Yesterday was a day that also saw another chapter in the Di Lorenzo case, probably the last one with a further note from the club: “Calcio Napoli reads in some press organs that a clarification is still needed between the club and Giovanni Di Lorenzo. Evidently, these press organs are misinformed, since the “clarification” between the club and the Captain has already taken place positively for a few weeks. It is clear, therefore, that Di Lorenzo is and will continue to be for many years to come the Captain and central pivot of Calcio Napoli”. Therefore, all that is expected is a public statement (announced) from the player.
