Martini: “No hesitation in accepting SudTirol. I like helping my teammates”

“I am very happy to join Sudtirol. From the very beginning, when the sports director Paolo Bravo called me and showed me his great interest in me, I didn’t hesitate to come here, especially for the great professionalism of the company“. The new midfielder Jacob Martiniwho arrived from Inter on a permanent basis, spoke to the official channels of the Alto Adige club, also focusing on his characteristics: “I am a player who loves to touch the ball. I prefer to play as a midfielder, but I also grew up playing as a mezzala, especially because of my running. MI like helping my classmates, especially when I see them in difficulty“.

Then there is his career that began in the Chievo youth team: “I grew up in Verona starting from the second year of Pulcini in Chievo and I went through the ranks, up to the Under 17s then, after the club went bankrupt, I went to Inter and from there I went on loan to SPAL where I won the Under 18 championship and wore the Primavera jersey that I then also wore at Inter. – continues Martini – At the end of that season, several Serie C teams had shown particular interest in me. I accepted the offer from Foggia, with whom I played several games before in a year characterized by ups and downs. But in the end it was a positive season and I am very happy about this”.

Finally a joke about his secret dream: “Making our Serie A debut, but first let’s think about making our Serie B debut”.
