Inter, uphill road for Kim min-jae: Bayern Munich said no to loan

It won’t be easy for Inter to sign Kim Min-jaea South Korean defender who won the Italian championship with Napoli in 2023 and then moved to Bayern Munich the following summer, with poor results. His first season in Bavaria was anything but exciting, but Germany’s most successful club, which paid around 50 million euros to buy him a year ago, now has no intention of selling him on loan.

As reported by the ‘Gazzetta dello Sport’ on newsstands today, Inter requested the player on a temporary basis but were met with a refusal from Bayern, who are ready to sell Kim but only on a permanent basis. This is why the Nerazzurri club continues to work on free transfer alternatives: on one side Mario Hermoso, released after his contract with Atletico Madrid expired, on the other Ricardo Rodriguez, a defensive winger returning from a long adventure at Torino and an excellent European Championship played with Switzerland.

In all of this, the situation of Stefan De Vrij must be monitored: the Dutch defender who concluded his European Championship last night has another year on his contract and could decide, at 32, to continue his career in the Saudi Pro League.
