Cesena, Di Taranto on Antonucci: “He is our objective, the deal is being finalized”

Yesterday evening the general manager of Cesena Corrado Of Taranto spoke on the sidelines of the presentation of the Serie B calendars of the negotiations to bring the striker Mirko Antonuccicurrently playing for Spezia, in Romagna.

“We are close to closing the deal. The sporting director Artico is working on this and the definition should arrive in the next few days. We have not hidden it, it is our objective and we are convinced that he can come to Cesena. – explains the Juventus manager to Cittadellaspezia.com then focusing on the Manuzzi which the Ligurian club knows well having used it as a home stadium in the past – We have a stadium that can normally host the national team, it’s perfect for us. We will welcome Spezia as opponents and not as guests, we are ready”.

Antonucci, who did not show up for the medical-athletic tests with Spezia by presenting a medical certificate, will therefore ultimately wear the Cesena jersey even if at the moment an agreement on the formula has yet to be found with the Ligurians who would like to sell him permanently – or on loan with an obligation to buy – while the Romagnoli are aiming more for a right to buy or an obligation conditional on reaching certain objectives (i.e. access to the play-offs).
