Ceccherini has returned to Verona from Türkiye: Palermo is also an option for the defender

Palermo on Federico Ceccherini. The 1992-born central defender has returned to Verona from his loan in Turkey at Fatih Karagumruk and has ended up, like Thomas Henry, in the sights of the Sicilian club. It is however likely that the player could leave for the retreat to be evaluated by Zanetti with his eventual departure which in any case would only be permanent with the player’s contract expiring in 2025.

In the meantime, since yesterday Martin Frese is a new Hellas Verona player. Below is the press release from the Verona club: “Hellas Verona FC announces that it has acquired the sports services of Danish defender Martin Frese, who has signed a contract with the yellow and blue Club until June 30, 2027”. Frese’s arrival should hasten Juan Cabal’s exit. Rennes are keen on the player, with Verona aiming to make the second big capital gain of the market before leaving for the retreat, scheduled for July 15. The player’s valuation is between 6 and 8 million, which would then be needed to get at least another left back: Murru and Rikelme in pole position.
