The Swedish defender Emil HolmBologna’s new signing, presented himself at a press conference today. Here are some of his comments: “I’m very happy to be here, Bologna is a great place. When I heard about the interest I was very excited about the opportunity, it’s a good step for my career”.
What were the secrets that made you make the leap in quality?
“When I arrived in Italy I was young, but in the first two seasons I grew a lot and I learned to enhance my characteristics also with the help of Gasperini. In particular, I worked a lot in training and he taught me to be a professional”.
After the season in Bergamo did you expect not to continue in Bergamo?
“Football is like this: when one door closes, another opens. I’m very happy to be here and I don’t think much about what’s happened. I’m only interested in working hard with Bologna and achieving great things.”
How did Gasperini specifically change your mentality?
“He taught me to be focused every day, in every training session, and to divide the moments.”
