Pisa, spotlight on Inzaghi’s favourite: the Tuscan club wants Cremonese’s Majer

The new Pisa branded Pippo Inzaghi begins to take shape. According to what was gathered by TMW the coach of the Tuscan club could soon meet up with an old acquaintance: Pisa has in fact set its sights on Zan Majera midfielder born in 1992 from Cremonese who worked with Inzaghi at Reggina, making 31 appearances and scoring one goal under the coach.

The Slovenian midfielder, who made 24 appearances in Serie B, playoffs and Coppa Italia last season with Cremonese, has a contract with the Grigiorossi that expires in 2025.

Pisa is strongly targeting the player and Cremonese, given the only year left on his contract, could consider selling the player now to cash in on his transfer to avoid losing him for free next year. On the other hand, Pisa hopes to be able to please their new coach without spending figures outside the market: Majer is a player highly regarded by Inzaghi, who would have wanted him also last season during his brief experience at Salernitana.
