After midfielder Douglas Luiz and goalkeeper Michele Di Gregorio, Juventus has closed its third signing of the summer market: Khephren Thuramborn in 2001 and coming from Nice, who will therefore reinforce Thiago Motta’s midfield. The 23-year-old midfielder arrives in black and white for a comprehensive operation that will guarantee Nice a revenue of around 25 million euros, bonuses included (the starting base is 18, some are difficult to reach) and that will lead to the signing of a 5-year contract.
Arriving in Italy with dad Lilian
Having landed in Caselle in the morning together with his father Lilian, Khephren Thuram first stopped at Continassa and then arrived at JMedical for the usual medical checks (in the TMW video, welcomed by the fans present with the chant “We came all the way here to see Thuram score!”). All this, while waiting for the official announcement.

No to the Olympics
Khephren Thuram – as is known – will not participate in the Paris Olympics that will begin on July 26. The coach of the French Olympic national team Thierry Henry announced, in a press conference, that the midfielder will not be there at the request of Juventus: “Thuram will not be there. The club where he will go is opposed to his call-up. For us it is a very heavy renunciation, but we cannot allow ourselves to find ourselves in a situation in which his name is included in the list of those called up and then the club arrives and tells us no in the end”.
