Stopped since March 4th, since that cursed Hellas Verona-Sassuolo, Domenico Berardi is still struggling with recovery after surgery on the Achilles tendon in his right leg. Rehabilitation is proceeding quickly, the Sassuolo offensive winger could also speed up the process and return fit and eligible for action before the 7-8 months that were predicted immediately after the injury. But which team will he start again with?
Sassuolo, in the meantime, has been relegated to Serie B and it is normal that Berardi could become a hot name on the market again, especially in August, when he could start training again with the Neroverdi. Last year Giovanni Carnevali, asking for 40 million euros, effectively took him off the market. But this summer the story is different, since the ’94 player, at 30 years old, could actually leave this time.

Two other options cannot be ruled out – we read – one is Vincenzo Italiano’s Bologna, another great admirer of the boy; the other is the latter’s former team, Fiorentina, which is always looking for reinforcements in that area of the pitch.
