The update on the new Juventus: now it’s a two-way ballot for the last move in the middle

Before Douglas Luiz from Aston Villa, then Khephren Thuram coming from Nice. Cristiano Giuntoli’s revolution for Thiago Motta is only just beginning and the midfield is the focal area around which the deus ex machina of the Juventus transfer market negotiations is initially concentrating. So now the ‘ballot’ remains open for who will complete the starting eleven of the new Italian-Brazilian coach. Adrien Rabiot or Teun Koopmeiners?

The update on Rabiot’s renewal
Officially Adrien Rabiot he is a luxury unemployed. Without a team, without a contract, with a future that, as he himself admitted, “will be decided after the European Championship, now I want to be focused on my France”. Today the match against Spain in search of conquering the final on July 14, meanwhile Milan is preparing the offer to possibly make Rabiot the new gravitational center of Paulo Fonseca’s midfield. But between the Premier League and La Liga there is no shortage of suitors. And Juve? 7 million on the table, not a cent more, take it or leave it.

The Koopmeiners affair update
More than an alternative, Teun Koopmeiner of Atalanta is Giuntoli’s other big goal. Only Juventus wants (must) first make a couple of big sales, also because the Goddess is asking for 60 million euros in cash for the Dutch midfielder who in the meantime has already given his approval to the Old Lady. So the Juve management is busy on two fronts: letting Federico Chiesa and Dean Huijsen leave. Once these two goodbyes are over, they can go all-in for Koopmeiners. Unless Rabiot decides to say yes to the renewal proposal first…
