The 25-year-old has joined the club on a four-year contract, pending a work permit, which will run until the summer of 2028. The imposing goalkeeper is regarded as one of the best in his home country, having kept 14 clean sheets in 25 appearances for Corinthians and having impressed so far, cementing himself as the Brazilian club’s number one.
Born in Rio de Janeiro, Miguel began his career at Flamengo, before playing for Internacional, Santa Cruz and Boa Esporte before joining Corinthians in 2021.
