“Joao Moutinho has spent most of his football career in the United States. He played for Los Angeles FC in MLS matches from 2018, before moving to Orlando City a year later. He played 15 games for the Californian club and scored one goal, and 85 games for the Florida team, where he scored three goals and made seven assists. – reads the statement – After three years in Orlando, at the beginning of 2023, the left-back moved to Spezia, later playing in Serie A. In the second half of the season, he played five official matches, including four in the league and one in the Coppa Italia. After the relegation from Serie A, Joao played six games for Spezia in Serie B and one Coppa Italia match in the 2023/2024 season. Before the start of the 2024/2025 season, Joao Moutinho joins the reigning Polish champions Jagiellonia Białystok on loan. He will play with the number 44”.
