Etienne Eto’o joins Cristian Totti: another son of art for Rayo Vallecano

Etienne Eto’o, the 21-year-old son of the historic former Inter, Barcelona, Sampdoria and Mallorca striker Samuel Eto’o, has signed for Rayo Vallecano. The Cameroonian will play with the reserve team Rayist next season, as announced by the portal close to the club, Union Rayo. Eto’o Jr. is not the first purchase made among the sons of art made famous even before establishing themselves with the heavy surname. In fact, Cristian Totti, son of the former captain of Roma, has been playing for the same club for some time.

Etienne, like his father, occupies the position of striker and was one of the best scorers of his third RFEF group with 15 goals. The youngster arrives from Rayo Majadahonda, with whom his contract expired on June 30. The youngster will be coached in the reserve team by Jorge Vallejo, but on his first day of training he did so under the watchful eye of Íñigo Pérez, coach of the first team, a testament to how much the club believes in his signing. He is already doing pre-season at the Vallecano club, so he could make his debut in the First Division next season.
