Sassuolo, English sirens for Pinamonti: newly promoted Ispwich and Leicester are thinking about it

Even though his name appears among those called up for the pre-season retreat under the orders of Fabio Grosso hardly Andrea Pinamonti will be part of the black-green team that will face the next season of Serie B. The name of the striker born in ’99, author of 11 goals in Serie A in 38 appearances last season, is in fact among those leaving the Emilian club with several clubs both in Italy and abroad that are studying the evolution of the situation.

Pinamonti has a very heavy contract, especially for the second division, given the 2.4 million euros net per season that the black-green club should pay him until 2027. His transfer, therefore, in addition to bringing fresh resources to invest in the market, would also significantly lighten the club’s wage bill.

As reported by the Mirror the last two teams that have reportedly made moves for the Italian striker are Leicester City and Ipswich Town in England. Initial contacts have already been made and it is not excluded that in the next few days the parties may sit down at the table to continue negotiations and try to bring the striker across the Channel to strengthen their offensive department with a player who has scored 40 goals in 176 appearances in Serie A.
