Al-Nassr seeks to convince Ederson: contract almost triples compared to Manchester City

The ManCity is struggling with a real battle to retain Ederson at the court of Pep Guardiola. As revealed by ESPNL’Al-Nassr is ready to offer a contract worth almost three times what the Brazilian goalkeeper earns at City. The Saudi Pro League club is also said to have Liverpool goalkeeper Alisson and Wojciech Szczesny, who is set to leave Juventus, on the list.

The City’s positionThe English club intends to keep the ’93-born player, but at the moment – according to what was revealed by the television channel – everything will depend on the player’s will: if he wants to leave, the Citizens they will ask for an appropriate fee. The 30-year-old goalkeeper is in fact under contract until 2026 and to take him from Benfica in 2017 the Manchester club spent a whopping 35 million pounds.

The indiscretion. The offer for Ederson is mind-blowing, however, given that he could earn more than £600,000 a week – ESPN reports – if he wanted to sign with Al Nassr. A figure that City would not be able to match even if they decided to negotiate a new contract. The English club, however, is calm having Stefan Ortega at their disposal, fresh from a contract extension until 2026, as well as Pep Guardiola who has always placed his faith in the 31-year-old German.
