The Naples presented its new home edition jersey, with the uniform that will be on sale in the club’s online store starting from 19.26 today. This is the press release from the blue club:
“SSC Napoli presents its new identity through a video manifesto that tells the pride of being Naples. It starts with a revisitation of the Logo, with its traditional Napoleonic N, which presents itself with a more minimal and contemporary version. The essential is emptied of accessory elements aiming for a cleaner and more elegant look in a monochromatic variant. The absolute novelty is represented by the Typography. For the first time a proprietary FONT, BE NAPOLI, a perfect synthesis of the intrinsic characteristics of the Brand and the city it represents. Naples is a melting pot in perpetual ferment. A city with a thousand facets where contrasts merge, giving life to an eclecticism without equal.
We wanted to draw on this heritage to create a unique and dynamic font inspired by the cultural richness of Naples. A city, a team and a typography united by a single interweaving. A bond translated into letters with escapes and diagonals like the visions of the city, characters as thick and compact as a united and determined team, sharp and dynamic angles symbolizing grit and speed. The genetics of a people who live on passion, history and chapters yet to be written. The city and Neapolitan pride inspired the video manifesto. A video that celebrates the wonders of Naples, that embodies the essence of Neapolitanity and that exalts the intrinsic characteristics of Neapolitan culture.
A story that winds through old and new neighborhoods, from the Spanish Quarters to Sanità, passing through “Spaccanapoli”, up to the Centro Direzionale. A look not only at the most iconic places of the city but also at its lesser-known, but no less significant, treasures such as the Ipogeo dei Cristallini, an ancient testimony of Greek art, or the Ospedale delle Bambole, a magical place where old dolls are “hospitalized” to find a new life. A storytelling that is enriched with visual and conceptual contrasts. An inclusive story that aims to enhance the diversity, especially intellectual and cultural, of Naples, its being innovative but at the same time tied to its roots, the superstition that is founded with faith, the heart in its everlasting confrontation with reason. Naples is this. Naples is theater, Naples is a natural stage where anything can happen. Naples is a contamination of styles and cultures and the Club wants to be its profound representation.
The new Home jersey fits into this context, presented in the iconic Pausilypon Archaeological Park and inside the Grotta di Seiano. The long hill of Posillipo constitutes a natural barrier that divides the plain of Naples from that of Bagnoli. At the western end of this relief is the Pausilypon Naturalistic Archaeological Park in a particularly pleasant position both for the landscape and naturalistic context and for the wide panorama available over the Gulf of Naples.
Among rocks and ancient theaters, between temples and thousand-year-old caves, here is the new Home Jersey in the iconic Napoli blue. The SSC Napoli home match jersey for the 2024/2025 season, the result of the collaboration with EA7 which is confirmed for the fourth consecutive year as the team’s Global Technical Partner, stands out for its elegant design and attention to detail, enhancing the sober lines with retro details starting from the V-neck with the addition of the woven rib sail.
One of the main new features is the resized SSC Napoli logo patch with a 3D effect. This detail not only adds a visual dimension to the shirt, but also highlights the club’s attention to the latest design trends and quality of detail. The new SSC Napoli lettering features modern and dynamic characters, giving it a more contemporary and eye-catching look.
The sport performance polyester jersey features a new allover heat print pattern of the iconic “N”.
The contrasting details in stretch woven material highlight the ergonomics of the cuts, while the set-in sleeve construction is enriched by a double contrasting ribbed bottom.
To make the product unique and authentic, the iconic shirt features the addition of a special shield, on the bottom of the shirt, with a fingerprint hologram.
