Jorge Sanchez leaves Europe after two years and returns to Mexico: he has signed with Cruz Azul

Jorge Eduardo Sanchez Ramos has already finished his experience in the Old Continent. The Mexican right-back returns to his homeland after two years spent between Ajax and Porto: he has signed with Cruz Azul.

Sanchez, born in 1997, grew up in the youth teams of Santos Laguna, a club he left in 2018 to move to America. After four years, the trip to Europe arrived; the Amsterdam club bought him for 5 million but, despite the three goals and three assists in the 26 games played in the 2022/23 season, he was not confirmed for the following one and was sold to Porto. Under the guidance of Conceiçao he played 23 matches, making 2 assists. For Sanchez also 43 games with the Tricolourwith which he also won an Olympic bronze.
