Di Gregorio: “Juve means victory. My journey has been tough, today strong emotions”

After the official announcement of his move to Juventus, which came in the afternoon, Michael DiGregoriothe new Juventus goalkeeper, gave an interview to the club’s official channels.

How was your first day in black and white?
“Very good because you can immediately feel something special at Continassa. So I’m really very happy.”

What does Juventus mean for Di Gregorio?
“Many, before coming here, told me that those who come here, come to win. So it means victory.”

How would you describe this moment in your career?
“A tough journey, a journey that started a long time ago, from Serie C. Maybe I didn’t even think where I could get to and then today when I arrived, I felt strong emotions precisely for this. Because it is an important achievement but I know that it must be a starting point”.

An adjective to describe it and its strengths?
“I would say that one adjective is reactive and my strong points are reactivity and explosiveness, but I also believe in mental balance and I believe that getting here means improving even more so I can’t wait.”

How will it feel to play at the Allianz Stadium again, given that you last played there against Monza?
“If they had told me, I wouldn’t have planned it so well in my head. It was beautiful because the Allianz Stadium applauded me, so when I spoke to you about today’s emotions, that day was also very emotional.”

What goals do you have in mind?
“I have always set myself the goals of improving and working and not stopping. I must not think that I have arrived and not think that the journey is over, but on the contrary. I think it is only the beginning, I really want to start and get involved. I said before that I associate Juventus with victory, so I want to win a lot”.

Greetings to the Juventus fans.
“I want to greet all the Juventus fans, I’ll be waiting for you at the Allianz Stadium to fight together, I can’t wait.”
