Conte tries to convince Di Lorenzo and welcomes Rafa Marin. But Inter are looking for Buongiorno

It now seems certain that the first arrival in the shadow of Vesuvius this summer will be that of Rafa Marin. The young Real Madrid defender (born in 2002) will be the first purchase to be made official and certainly the only one to be present from the first day in the summer retreat in Dimaro. Meanwhile, the case relating to John DiLorenzo is about to be resolved. As reported by Allsports the Napoli captain is moving towards staying with the former Italian champions, with Antonio Conte having spoken to the full-back and practically convincing him to stay in blue. The player welcomed with pleasure the flattering words of both Conte and president De Laurentiis, words with which they expressed their esteem for him. The announcement on Di Lorenzo’s future will be made on Tuesday, in an eagerly awaited press conference, during which his agent will also shed light on past uncertainties.

Meanwhile Leonardo Spinazzola is getting closer and closer. The 31-year-old winger has had the special status of free agent since last Monday, as Roma did not renew his contract. Napoli pounced on the sure thing, also thanks to Conte’s explicit request (who wanted him with them when he was with the national team). Practically a free transfer opportunity. The blue club has agreed to sign a two-year contract with the player at figures that are slightly different from those he received with the Giallorossi (3 million per season), but which could rise depending on objective bonuses, appearances and minutes played.

Napoli evaluates Patrick Dorgu for the wing. The Danish defender from Lecce is liked by many clubs in Serie A, even if the Azzurri will first have to sell someone on the left wing of defense. Mario Rui will probably return to Portugal. Discussions with the three main clubs – namely Sporting Lisbon, Porto and Benfica – have been going on for quite some time, even if for now there is nothing advanced. His farewell would open up, in fact, the possibility of bringing Dorgu to Naples, independently of Spinazzola. This is because Matias Oliveira can also act as a wingman in the three-man defense.

Chapter Good Morning: Cairo spoke in an interview about the defender of the national team, one step away from the transfer to Napoli: “Buongiorno is obviously a player that is very popular, who is followed by several teams. Since he went to Germany I have not heard from him except for messages of encouragement, of positivity. Obviously before making any decision regarding Buongiorno’s future I want to meet him to find out what he thinks. It was the same last year, when we then decided to keep him. The interest is nice, but before making decisions I have to sit down, talk to him and listen to what he has to say”.

Meanwhile, according to what TMW has gathered in the last few hours, the possibility of a joke is concrete: Inter met with his agent Beppe Risso to close the Oristanio to Venezia deal and during the talks the conversation also fell on Alessandro Buongiorno, vice-captain of Torino and a prized piece of the summer market. The Nerazzurri have asked for information on the defender, but they need time, because the 35 million offered by Napoli at the moment are certainly not matchable.
