New renewal at Juventus Women: French striker Thomas has signed until 2026 with the club she arrived in last summer. Below is the official press release:

“Good news for the black and whites: Lindsey Thomas and Juventus Women will continue their journey together; the contract renewal until 2026 is a reality. The agreement reached highlights the excellent first season in a Juventus jersey of the French player, capable of asserting herself in the offensive zone with a continuity of goals and excellent plays.

Born in Guadeloupe, but raised in France, the class of ’95 divided the first part of her career between Montpellier (the team where she was able to develop as a footballer) and loans from Basel, Bordeaux and Dijon. She arrived in Italy in the summer of 2019, where she wore the Roma jersey for two years (also winning an Italian Cup); then the move to Milan – playing two seasons as a protagonist – and finally the arrival at Juventus in June 2023.

Thomas’ first Juventus chapter stands out for its incisiveness, the final numbers recite a very respectable script: 29 total appearances in all competitions, 10 goals overall, 8 of which scored in Serie A. In the championship she also has 4 assists, and what has particularly struck her is her ability to make an impact at any moment of the match, often knowing how to come off the bench with the necessary nastiness to be ready in front of the goal.

Last summer she arrived with the label of the best scorer against Juventus, with 5 goals scored, now she has become an essential resource to hurt all opposing defenses.

Winner, together with her teammates, of the splendid Italian Women’s Super Cup in January 2023, we hope to be able to enjoy other successes together soon. Very happy to have you with us”.
