There are 13 new Serie A benches, only one official announcement is missing: the complete picture

The picture of the Serie A benches in view of the new season has almost been fully outlined. After that of Eusebio Di Francesco to Venezia, in fact, in the last few hours the official announcement of Roberto D’Aversa as the new coach of Empoli has also arrived.

There is only one announcement left
So, as of today, there is only one bench in the top division still to be assigned, even if it has been virtually decided for several days. It is Cagliari, which is ready to welcome Davide Nicola as its new coach. This week, he is scheduled to meet with the conciliation body to free himself from the contract with Empoli and, following the positive response to the requests, he will be able to sign the contract with the island rossoblù. All the necessary agreements are already in place and the official announcement is not in question, Friday will most likely be the day of the announcement. Then the picture of the benches of the Serie A 2024/2025 will be complete.

Let’s remember that only 7 coaches have been confirmed compared to the previous season, while once Davide Nicola’s appointment to Cagliari has also been made official, the benches that will have changed owners for the new championship will be as many as 13.
